CoreUI - Installation

Follow this short instruction to install CoreUI interface for your cloud. If you are using existing cloud installation, ask Administrator for the CoreUI address. Otherwise, follow the installation guide

What do you need?

Make sure, that you have git package and any webserver installed on your system. It might be lighttpd for this example. This is fast and very light web server. No additional modules are required.

CoreUI is fully client-side web application. It means, that whole code is executed in the web browser on the client's computer. You only have to host files for this application and provide proper url to the CoreCluster cloud.

Install CoreUI

Go to the /var/www/html directory and execute following command:

sudo git clone https://github.com/cloudOver/coreui.git

After few seconds whole repository should be fetched into coreui directory. Edit file in coreui/settings.js and adjust CoreCluster address (the core_url and webvnc variables).

Check it

Open your web browser and check if your CoreUI is available:

http://127.0.0.1/coreui

You should get login prompt for CoreUI interface. Try to login or create new account. Your interface is ready to use!
