Each part of CoreCluster Management could be split into parts and spreaded across multiple servers to provide a high level of cloud accessibility. This elements are:
- API - multiple instances are allowed at different parts of your cluster. Each instance should have access to database and cache (by default this is Redis). API doesn't require direct access to nodes or storages.
- Agents - multiple instances are allowed across your cluster. Agents should have access to database, cache and all nodes in network. The only exception is Networking agent, if you want to provide public IP redirections
- Cluster Interface (CI) since 16.12 there could be multiple instances of Cluster Interface, however proper configuration of CoreNode package at each computing node is required.
By default, all above components are installed at one host during installation. However it is possible to provide multiple API and CI hosts and also use separate host to handle agent threads.
